“ Right, positives first:
The range of beers is excellent and the atmosphere in the pub is generally good too (never particularly noisy, for example).
However... the food is *decidedly* average (& rather overpriced too) and the service a bit patchy these days too, unfortunately.
The manager is happy to reserve us an area free of charge each month - although, in reality, he often fails to make this actually happen (despite reminders). Still, the idea is there...
Generally though, the food is the weakest aspect of this venue - so I would advise eating elsewhere before if possible. Otherwise it's a reasonably good venue, that suits our purposes for bookcrossing. ”

“ Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Beer is good, with choices of real ale to suit most palates! Pub is a bit smelly at the moment because of roof leaking problems I think. Too many TVs for football!
They do their best to accomodate the meetup though ”
