Some of the York Bookcrossing Meetup Group are planning to do this 2-hour literary walk (see previous discussion).
It is being organised by York Walk (as part of York Literature Festival) and is billed as "a walk around York's literary sites of interest - including locations that inspired authors such as Charles Dickens, WH Auden, Alcuin, the Bronte Sisters, Kate Atkinson and more".
It costs: £5.50 (adults) / £5 (York Card holders) / £2.50 (children) - payable to the organisers, not me!
Some members of the group are planning to do some appropriate 'wild releasing' during the course of the walk - and there is also talk of going for some 'refreshment' afterwards (venue to be arranged on the day!).
I know Dorothy, Di, Nu-Knees and possibly Maia are up for it - anyone else?
