"Wonderful fun as always, with a great bunch of people, and home-made birthday cake which was far too delicious for my waistline! We had rather a lot of books, so the mantle shelf got pressed into service as well as the bookshelves. Well, if the pub will insist on using one of the three shelves for keeping the cutlery and condiments on, what are we to do? *g*"

"It's a great way to find new (and free) books to read, to give away books you've read and to connect with others who like to read/share books."

"I really enjoy my time at the meetups. The people are friendly, and I always walk away with a couple of books. The varied reading taste is fascinating."
