Meeting Description

Anyone who loves books, is willing to let them go, and wants to participate in the bookcrossing movement.

Organized by

"Look for the pile of books!"

Details

Yes, that time of the month is approaching soon... Sign up now for May's bookcrossing meetup! There will be books, there will be chat, there will be drinks, and oh yes, more books...

For those who haven't met us before, we're a very nice friendly bunch and can be identified in the cafe by the piles of books which normally surround us. Bookcrossing is a global online community and I would strongly recommend you visit its website at www.bookcrossing.com beforehand in order to register yourself and your books so you can track their progress after the meetup. If you want any further information, please see the 'About Us' section on the meetup website or send me an e-mail. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Can I ask all those who come along to ensure that they journal all books that they pick up? It seems that recently there have been quite a few books picked up but then the person who releases them never hears of where they've gone. It's not very fair, so please, do journal books on the bookcrossing website, even a short entry saying 'picked up at meetup' will do!!!

I was surprised by the large number of people there. Sorry I did not really get to speak to you all. Will certainly try and come again next time I am down near Edinburgh.
