Oh. . . .looking at my crime movie section, here's a couple more that are definitely worth being tracked down:
Layer Cake - Great British crime flick
Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang - it has Robert Downey jr and Val Kilmer in a great detective caper/buddy flick spoof that's a great detective caper/buddy flick at the same time
A Scanner Darkly - based off a great book, cool animation style
Gone Baby Gone - Tightly told story, great flick

Hey Mike! I'm pretty new to the scene too, so I don't know of too many raw things up in Rogers Park. I will let you know if I hear of anything though!
-
The Opus Movie. You need to watch this. It is the motivational movie of the century you can't miss.

Great to meet you, Mike! If you haven't seen it, yet - Danny Kaye in The Court Jester. The funny line I couldn't even bungle?
The pellet with the poison's in the vessel with the pestle; the chalice from the palace has the brew that is true!
Don't be a stranger! Think of all the things I have yet to offend you by saying!

Glad to hear your finger healed well.
